Overview:
I was hired as the first staff member in a development or marketing role, so I was responsible for building the foundation of the development and marketing program.
+ Created a multi-channel marketing, fundraising, and events calendar informed by school activities and holy days.
+ Set up Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database. 
   - Researched CRM options, made a recommendation to the Board of Directors, purchased and set up the     CRM, Bloomerang.
   - Migrated data from temporary database and MailChimp into Bloomerang.
   - Created acknowledgement letter and weekly e-newsletter template from inside Bloomerang.
   - Customized Bloomerang for the school’s communication and fundraising needs.
   - Trained the Administrative Assistant on how to use Bloomerang, especially the weekly e-newsletter template.
   - Integrated CRM with WordPress website for online donations and e-mail subscriptions.
+ Developed and implemented digital marketing plan, gaining buy-in from teachers for obtaining videos and photos of class projects and filed trips for story telling on social media.
+ Served on Strategic Planning Group, using design thinking and human centered design to conduct workshops with nearly 100 stakeholders and create organization’s first 3-5 year strategic plan, planning and execution of engagement, needs assessment, stakeholder analysis, strategic communications.
+ Designed and executed fundraising program, writing solicitation letters and emails
+ Formalized planning process for annual fundraising event by
   - Scheduling event planning calendar;
   - Preparing event sponsorship request form and secured the event’s first sponsors;
   - Led volunteer planning committee;
   - Developed and tracked event budget; and
   - Maintained records of vendors, event details and lessons learned for institutional memory.
   - Generated first annual fundraising budget.
+ Collaborated with Administrative Assistant to refine marketing materials for prospective families as well as welcome materials for new families.
